A New Dog In The White House

Miss Beazley, a Scottish Terrier, arrived Thursday, January 6, at the White House. Miss Beazley was a birthday present from the President to the First Lady, for her 58th birthday.

Miss Beazley has for company Barney, who is related to Miss Beazley. Barney's half brother is Miss Beazley's father.

India has been a member of the Bush family for more than 10 years. The family named her after the former Texas Ranger baseball player, Ruben Sierra, who was called "El Indio". India lives with the Bush family in the Whitehouse. India likes to hide from her owners, and her favorite place to nap is under the bed. India's favorite food is Tuna-flavored treats.
