well my 10 year old puppy is a puppy no longer. she's finaly getting old. the spring in her step is fading. she doesn't keep up on as well during our morning runs.
yesterday a friend took her out to the park to swim and play and this morning she couldn't even roll out of bed for breakfast. :(
any suggestions for keeping her older years happy? she's a rottie. not overweight at all. she's small for a rot, only 60lbs. super dog! smart, friendly.
i feel sorry for my friend. |

Purina has a nice article about caring for your older dog on their website. It talks about things like regular check-ups, diet, exercise, environment, and maintaining a daily routine. Here's the link.

Dog Fancy also has a article on their website, Tips for Managing Symptoms of Aging.
