Aggressive Boxer problem

Hi, I am hoping I might find some advice here. We have 3 dogs, a 6 year old female Boxer, a 6 year old female Boston Terrier, and a young male chocolate lab. We've had the Boxer and the Boston since they were approx. 8 weeks old, they were born within a couple weeks of each other. They've all been spayed/neutered.

Our Boxer started becoming aggressive toward the Boston several years ago. She occasionally attacks her, resulting in injuries to both of them, though mostly to the Boston. We had her checked for medical problems, she does not have any. She is very dominant and bossy. She is not aggressive toward people, she loves most everyone. Last night, the Boston growled at the Boxer, sparking another fight. This was the first one in over a year. My husband was able to pull the Boxer off the Boston, but not before she had punctured her leg, resulting in stitches and a drainage tube insertion this morning.

We are at our wit's end, my husband feels because of the danger to the Boston the only choices we have are to find a new, only dog home for the Boxer, or find a new home for the Boston, or have the Boxer euthanized for aggression. We really don't want to do any of these. We live in the boondocks and the closest animal behaviorist is a 4 hour roundtrip. With working and other responsibilities, that's just not an option. Does obedience training work to improve aggressive dogs? The Boxer does not get into fights with the Lab, she did try to attack him once and he swiftly defended himself. She must have realized he is bigger than her as she has left him alone since. Plus, he is the sweetest dog and not the least bit aggressive or dominant. The feisty Boston, however, stands up to the Boxer and fights back, which is not a good idea as the Boxer weighs more than 3 times as much. If any of you have been able to solve a similar problem without having to resort to new homes, please please reply.
