I really don't know if the flea collars that I buy are causing this problem, or not. The vet said my cat had some fleas, so I put a store-bought flea collar on him------well, it seemed to help with the scratching, etc.----but then----I noticed he was losing hair on his back and had bites, etc.
I'm wondering if the flea collar around the neck caused the fleas to go toward the back area??? I'm now trying the apple-cider vinegar and brewer's yeast. Too soon to tell aobut them. I took the flea collar off. He's doing much better, I had some amoxicillin from a previous vet visit----gave him some of that.
We haven't seen any fleas, but I vacuum more frequently now and seem to be cleaning all the time now!! |
