| They look wonderful to me but I wonder how they actually work. I'd love to know your opinions. Also curious if anyone has an enclosure outside that the door opens into. I'm trying to decide how to do that with my daughters new house and her 4 cats. Thanks |

I use a cart door. But I use it from the living room to the basement where the litter box is. that way I can keep the basement door closed but the cats can come and go down as they please.
It is funny to watch the dog see the cats go through their door. The dog has no idea what just happened,,, suddenly the cats are gone! The dog just runs in a circle and gets all excited. |

i used to have a cat door as well as a dog door but the cats started using the dog door more than the cat door. i think that's because the cat door was in a window and it was more effort to jump up and through than the dog door being at ground level.
so now all my pets go through the dog door. |
