| How often do you groom your cats - comb them out and trim their nails? Have you ever tried giving your cat a bath? |

I don't do those things too often... they hate it! they bite and spit me! :)
bathing cats... you try and give a bath to my female cat...! she's gonna kill you!
the male cat... I bathed him twice when he was really little... once with flea shampoo and once because he fell in the toilet! |

My one cat, Purr, is like that. An otherwise docile cat, getting a bath is one of two things that will turn her into a terrorist. The other thing is me running the vacuum cleaner.
My other cat, Blaze, tolerates getting bathed pretty well. I just put her in the shower under a light spray, or in the tub and scoop water over her with a glass. She gets the shampoo and conditioner treatment. While I'm not sure she exactly enjoys the experience, I think she likes getting toweled off afterwards, and then combed out when she's dry. She looks so pretty when she's done. And her fur is so silky! :D |

| I shower (& shampoo) my cats once a year, in the hot season and clip their claws every two weeks or so. I groom both cats with a fine-toothed flea comb about once a week, but almost on a daily basis during shedding seasons. |
