Who uses an air filter in their house to filter allergens, dander, etc.? I'm seriously considering buying one & am trrying to get some feedback. What kind of unit do you have?
Do the special filters for central air work for you?
TIA! |

| I have 2 small HEPA air filters. One is in my bedroom, and the other is in the sunroom, where my cat Purr hangs out the most during the day. I'm not sure the brand name, but I'll check. The filters do a good job of cleaning the air, beyond the regular heating/cooling system. |

| My HEPA air filters are Kenmore brand, from Sears. They have 3 settings: low, medium, and high. I usually run them on medium. One bad thing is they are a bit on the noisy side. It doesn't bother me, even at night when I'm sleeping (and I have to run them, otherwise I wake up congested). However, it's something to keep in mind if you buy one. |
