When I feed my cat with dry cat feed, he drinks a lot of water. Previously, there was a special dish with water which stayed near his feeding place, but I always forgot to change water in it and my cat got used drinking water from the sink. Some water always stays in the hollow of the sink and he puts his front legs on the sink border, bends and drinks water.
Cat of my parents drinks water directly from the flood which flows from the tap. |

my prevous cat would drink from the sink. whenever we'd brush our teeth he'd be there. we'd leave the faucet trickling so he could drink.
my current cat drinks from the water features around the house. no wonder i have to constantly fill them. |

| I replace the cats' water bowl with fresh water twice a day(in the morning & before I go to bed). They have never had a drink from the sink, as far as I know. |

| Purr drinks water from her 2 water bowls, which I change at least once a day. She doesn't drink from the sink that I know of. |

| The two water bowls are side-by-side. I have two, because I used to have two cats. Now that the other cat is gone, I just didn't have the heart to pull up one of the bowls. Purr uses both bowls, although she seems to prefer the right bowl. It's probably better with two bowls anyway, for days I work late and/or am busy dancing in the evening (or if I'm absent-minded about changing the water). |

My dog used to make people turn on the kitchen faucet, then she'd put her front paws on the sink and drink from the faucet. It was the funniest thing ever. She also had a bowl that she didn't mind drinking from, but she loved the attention she got with her faucet-drinking trick.
The best water was always in the toilet bowl, though. :? |

| It's funny...but she was very much a licky dog. *Very* affectionate. And you never knew what was she licking just before coming to give you some lovin'. |
