| Does anyone go outdoors with his cat on the lead? It is very difficult for me to imagine my cat at a lead. I think he will hang himslef on it :? May be the cat should be habituated to it since he is a kitten? Sometimes I regret my cat must sit all the time at home and is not able to walk, breath fresh air and s.o. |

I tried taking a previous cat (Blaze) outside on a leash. She didn't like it and we didn't get very far. It was actually kind of comical.
Sometimes I would let her outside for very short, supervised playtime around the sunroom. Or occasionally I'd scoop her up and carry her to the mailbox when I'd go get the mail. |

As I've already written, I think the cat should be habituated to the leash since his childhood, the same as habituation to the litter.
When I see a cat on a leash, it makes me smile. |
