Satin, a black short-haired mother cat, has adopted a 6-day-old Rottweiler puppy that was rejected by its mother at the Meriden Humane Society, located in Meriden Connecticut. The puppy, named Charlie, nurses alongside four black and gray kittens recently born to Satin, who was taken to the shelter by an owner unable to care for her.

Awwww... that's so sweet.
i wonder what's going to happen in a few weeks when that dog doubles in size. |

| I haven't found any updates yet. The Meriden Humane Society doesn't seem to have a website. And there haven't been any further stories other than the initial report on the wire. I'll check again in a few days and post back if I find something. |
