| The joggers in the park are starting to get on my bad side. The people who walk their dogs (not jog) seem to clean up after their dog, but the joggers are another story. I suppose they don't want to have to carry the poopy bag while they jog. Have you noticed joggers as being poor pooper scoopers? |

| In Romania this is not a habit... people don't ever do it! They just let their dogs poop everywhere without cleaning the place... I hate it! |

That's awful. Is it like that all over Europe? |

You see people walking their dogs in Japanese suburbia, with very few places that aren't covered with asphalt, with spade(or trowel, if you will) and baggie in hand, but I think it's just for show(as some people have told me!). When I used to run daily, I would have to dodge shi*t left and right. I hated this!
I heard in some European countries, in the cities anyhow, there are fines for pet owners leaving their animal waste on the streets. I believe Paris is one example. [/img] |

| *Nods* Yes, in some European countries you can get a fine if you are "caught in the act". There are also signs saying that dogs may not poo at a grassfield, or are allowed. Not everywhere, but that does prevent some unwilling dog owners from not scooping their dogs poo. |

Boy am I familiar with this one! When I was hiking up a beautiful grassy hill in Edingurgh, Scotland several years back, I stepped right smack in the middle of an enormous dog poo! Fortunately, I was wearing boots at the time... |
