There is always a concern about cats going outside and getting bit by other animals or getting fleas. While a cat run doesn't solve this 100%, it does allow you to let your pets outside with some peace of mind. Here is a nice picture of a Cat Run:

I still love this picture, and I am going to try to make one for my porch at out apartment, but smaller.
